I hired Indigo because I wanted to take a more coordinated and systematic approach to my marketing efforts. Indigo was already recognized in the advisor community as a firm that produced results, understood how advisory firms work, and knew the challenges we face, so I decided to try them out.
Unlike other marketing firms that start out at thousands of dollars a month, Indigo made it affordable to get started. They offered a la carte items as my budget permitted, which gave me a chance to try them out without breaking the bank.
I love working with Indigo because they’re nice people who genuinely want you to succeed. They also have a team of in-house marketing and content professionals that would be very difficult and costly (financially and from a time perspective) for me to build out myself.
One major benefit of working with them is their expertise in crafting well-written customized articles and blog posts. Writing content is the last thing I want to spend time on nor is it something I’m especially skilled at. However, I’ve come to realize that this customized content is at the center of any marketing campaign. The benefit of working hand-in-hand with Heidi to help me craft my 12-month content calendar has been invaluable.
I also love that they take care of all of my social media posts on a regular basis (at least 3x a week). This is something that could easily be a time suck for any advisor and is well worth the minimal cost to delegate to a professional.
If you’re an advisor looking for a marketing firm, try Indigo out for at least 6 months. It’s a very affordable way to jump-start your marketing efforts.
