We just got a brand-new client who called us; she had been following us on Facebook and reading our posts. She and her husband recently retired and came in for their third appointment to sign papers. That new account paid for our marketing services 10 times over this year.

Since we have started working together on my content marketing strategy, I’ve noticed some strange things happening. While I can’t point to one blog post or email that caused a new referral or lead, I’ve noticed more awareness of what I do and how I help my clients.
On Facebook, I’ve been getting private messages saying, “Can we set up a time to talk?” While I was riding my bike with my cycling group, a woman I’ve known for years said she needs to set an appointment. She ended up investing over $1 million with me.
The common thread is that I’m connected to these folks on social media and they’re seeing my posts. Some people read my blog posts and updates and ask how I’m able to get all this marketing done. They know that it’s custom and personal, but they also know I’m very busy. It’s great to have my network become more aware of how I can help and to make it easier for people to find me when they need help.

Every time we send out an email, we get a few new leads. One business owner sent me an email to set up an appointment to review his 401(k) and another acquaintance requested a phone call after seeing my posts on Facebook. This afternoon, I received an email from a lawyer looking to set up a retirement plan for their law firm. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, but last month I had the best month in my career, so I am looking forward to the future.
We want to give you props for the Social Security Workshop. We had 25% of our attendees come from either LinkedIn or Facebook. Had a fantastic turnout; 41 people showed up and 10 of them from the marketing you created and pushed out. Thank you!
