Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end web development process, from initial kick-off calls and planning through deployment and maintenance.
- Coordinate with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Utilize project management software to track progress, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Develop and implement test cases to ensure functionality, performance, and usability of web applications.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to the team, clients, and leadership.
- Manage project documentation and ensure proper version control
- Conduct project retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Act as the primary, high-velocity point of contact for clients, ensuring all inquiries, updates, and feedback are handled with urgency and exceptional professionalism.
- Bring order to ambiguity by rapidly triaging shifting project priorities, unexpected hurdles, and fast-moving client requests.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across design, development, and marketing teams, stepping up as a leader to unblock bottlenecks and keep projects on schedule.
Skills and Requirements:
- Hands-On WordPress Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of WordPress (Elementor, Bricks, Divi, or similar builders) with the ability to jump in and make copy updates, formatting tweaks, or stage content when resources are tight.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (preferably ClickUp)
- Knowledge of databases and their integration with web applications
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and clients
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- 3+ years of experience in project management in a marketing or agency setting
- Exceptional Communication: Top-tier written and verbal communication skills with a track record of maintaining rapid, proactive client correspondence.
- Decisive Leadership: Strong emotional intelligence and leadership skills to influence and guide diverse teams without needing direct authority.
- Figma Literacy: Ability to navigate Figma files, extract assets, review design specs, leave clear feedback, and handle basic layout adjustments without needing to ping a designer for minor tweaks.
- AI Tool Integration: Demonstrated experience using AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, or specialized PM automation tools) to accelerate documentation, summarize client communication, draft scopes of work, and optimize project workflows.
- Solid understanding of SEO and AEO best practices to guide recommendations for website traffic, including SEO fundamentals such as site structure, metadata, local SEO, and what not to break in a migration.
- Basic ADA accessibility knowledge and why it matters for a regulated client.
- QA: Work with our QA teams to run the pre-launch checklist: cross-browser, mobile, forms, tracking, page speed, broken links, redirects, accessibility.
- Analytics and tracking. GA4, Google Search Console, conversion and event tracking, Google Tag Manager basics.
- Bonus: Experience in financial services marketing: RIA, broker-dealer, insurance, or wealth management.
- Familiarity with website archiving and recordkeeping requirements for advisors.
