A Moment of Clarity Before the New Year
While you’re hopefully enjoying some moments of calm amidst the holiday rush, I wanted to share a thought that’s been sitting with me.
If you’re reading this, Indigo has likely crossed your path in some small but intentional way. Maybe you downloaded a resource, attended a webinar, or have simply been observing from the sidelines. However you arrived here, that tells me something important: you’re thinking critically about your firm and how you want it to grow.
One thing we hear consistently from financial advisors is a quiet sense of frustration. They’re doing the work—showing up, staying visible, trying to be thoughtful with their messaging—yet the results don’t always match the effort.
In most cases, the issue isn’t effort or commitment. It’s a lack of clear direction tying everything together.
Many advisors feel stuck between strategies that once worked and the reality of what today’s prospects expect. Referrals still play a role, but relying on them alone can feel unpredictable. Without a clear system in place, marketing starts to feel like another item on an already full plate.
Looking ahead to 2026, this is a good moment to pause and ask a simple question:
Does your current marketing approach support the firm you want to be running a year from now?
Sustainable growth rarely comes from doing more; it comes from doing the right things with intention.
If you decide that 2026 is the right time to bring more structure and clarity to your marketing, we’d welcome that conversation. January is often when fresh perspective and planning can make the biggest difference.
For now, we simply want to say thank you for being here and for taking the time to reflect. We hope the holiday season gives you space to recharge, and that the year ahead brings momentum that feels steady, focused, and manageable.
Warm wishes from all of us at Indigo.
